Digital technology

Before starting Media last year I already had some experience of using Photoshop, iTunes and Blogspot.
I had used Photoshop to edit personal photos like from holidays to improve the quality, and also family photos. I used iTunes for my music and films because I've got an iPod, but I had never used a Mac before. I was also familiar with Blogspot as I had a couple of personal blogs and I also followed other blogs produced by my family.
When I started Media we had to do some preliminary tasks to learn how to use the equipment in school like the cameras, Macs, i-movie and Photoshop. By doing a 1 minute film for the preliminary task I learnt how to use the Macs and i-movie, editing the shots me and my group had filmed into a watchable sequence. Learning how to use Photoshop to produce a magazine was quite easy to learn but time consuming to make the actual product but I think the outcome of my work showed the previous skills I had using the program.
When I was my coursework in my first year of media I had to use i-movie more and also was introduced to Garageband. I got used to how to use i-movie quite easily and found editing easier as time went on. Using Garageband at first was difficult, finding the right sound, putting the sounds in the right pace and order and getting the volume right but I improved ..............
